General Information About the Department

Ankara City Hospital Department of Internal Medicine, General Internal Service, Outpatient Outpatient Clinics, Emergency Internal Medicine Critical Care Units and Internal Medicine Intensive Care Units continues its missions with a wide range of training and service. The Clinic of Internal Medicine, with its modern physical environments and comprehensive medical facilities; follows the innovations in medicine from all kinds of sources, participates in domestic and international scientific meetings and follows the latest scientific resources and technologies closely by using the expert staff, patients as a whole to evaluate and apply the diagnosis and treatment successfully. Diagnosis and treatment of patients with internal problems, a rare, complex and multidisciplinary approach are applied meticulously, in a scientific and holistic approach, by making councils and consultations with different disciplines when necessary. In the clinics, patients are reevaluated with frequent visits by internal medicine specialists and their treatment and care are performed by experienced nurses. In addition to the service mission of the Internal Medicine Clinic, it educates approximately 100 research assistants with a comprehensive education to deal with all the organic and psychological problems of the patient, complete, safe, logical and scientific approach to diagnosis, have the ability to evaluate drugs and select other medical treatments for prevention and treatment of disease, takes a holistic approach to patients, not only as body systems, careful in cost-effective use of clinical decision-making and shrinking healthcare resources with a wide and experienced academic staff together with minor clinics.

In the Clinical Research laboratory in our clinic, many multicentre national and international and local clinical trials are carried out. It is ensured that all research assistants participate actively in clinical research.
