Our center has been designed to be patient-friendly for our patients who want to have a baby with the help of a comfortable and high quality service, and it has been arranged to serve international patients under Health Tourism. Our center which is a pioneer in many fields is also selected as Assisted Reproductive Treatment Center (ART) by The Ministry of Health and it has the status of certificated training center for obstetricians and embriologists working in different regions in our country including IVF Centers. Our center is a fountain of hope for patients by our experienced team.

IVF Treatment is a proven treatment method for many years in the treatment of couples coping with having babies by natural methods or vaccination.

 This method treats;

• Unexplained infertility,

• When the ovarian reserve decreases,

• Obstructions in the tubes (in females)

• Endometriosis

• Ovulation disorder conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome,

• low sperm count and low quality (in males)

• In the presence of genetically transmitted diseases in which one of the couples needs to be examined for the genetic material of the embryo (PGT)

It is an effective treatment method in cases requiring a stem cell donor sibling.

In the treatment of IVF, the egg cells taken from the mother and the sperm cells of the father are mixed together in a laboratory environment outside of the female reproductive system and fertilized and an embryo is obtained. The obtained embryo is placed in the mother's womb with the help of a catheter. Within the framework of the current regulation and the Health Implementation Communiqué in our country, the Social Security Institution covers the costs of IVF treatment up to 3 attempts, provided that certain conditions are met. Candidates who want to have IVF treatment in public hospitals must go through some processes. First of all, the male and female couple applying for IVF treatment must be officially married. It is imperative that the couple undergoing IVF treatment do not have common children, except for their adopted children. It is required that the woman must have reached the age of 23 and not have reached the age of 40. Also, one of the women or men should have at least 5 years and 900 days of universal health insurance premium days within the scope of universal health insurance. After previous medical treatments, a medical board report should be prepared by the health boards of the hospitals authorized by the Ministry of Health, that normal medical methods will not be enough to have children and that they will only have children with reproductive aids (IVF). Again, it should be stated with the medical board report that there is no systemic disease that may prevent pregnancy from continuing.

When these conditions are fully met, the treatment cost is covered by the SSI, limited to a maximum of 3 attempts, and only a certain proportion of participation is received from the patients. Couples outside the scope of SSI can receive treatment at our center provided that they pay their fees in case of necessity of IVF for medical reasons. After these necessary formal conditions are met, examinations of women and men are requested by specialist doctors. In men, spermiogram, hormone, genetic tests, if necessary; In women, evaluations such as smear, hormone and biochemical evaluation, pelvic ultrasonography, uterine film (HSG) or imaging of the uterus by camera system (hysteroscopy) should be done.

As a result of the examination results, the most appropriate treatment protocol is selected for the patient. In the treatment of IVF, egg development is ensured by hormonal drugs given from outside. During the use of these hormone drugs, ultrasound and blood tests are performed to monitor the response of the ovaries and egg development and to make dose adjustments when it’s necessary.

During the follow-up of the egg development, on the day when sufficient number and size of eggs are formed, the egg ripening needle is made to complete the last development step of the eggs, and the timing of the egg collection is planned and preparation is made. On the day of egg collection, the patient is present in the operating room with her husband, with the anesthesia preparation (hungry). During the procedure, a sperm sample is taken simultaneously from the man or, if necessary, sperm is obtained by surgical method.

The collected eggs are fertilized in the laboratory environment with the sperm of the husband by using micro injection or one of the classical IVF methods. The fertilized eggs are monitored in the laboratory between 2 and 5 days and the best quality 1-2 embryos are transferred from the embryos formed in accordance with the regulation conditions. Patients aged 35 and over or after the third trial have the right to transfer 2 embryos.

It is the last stage of IVF treatment. Anesthesia is not required for the procedure. Since the transfer is done with ultrasound and the bladder must be filled for this, the patient is asked to drink some water before the procedure. During the transfer process, embryos are passed into the uterus by passing through the cervix with a catheter. After the embryo transfer, patients are informed about the necessary treatments and the things to be considered. Couples are informed about treatment and processes at each stage of the procedures and their consent is obtained by filling in informed consent forms. If there are good quality embryo or embryos left after the transfer, with the couple's approval, the embryos are frozen and stored for future use. In our center, egg cell (oocyte, sperm), embryo freezing procedures are also performed for patients who will receive treatment (chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgical intervention) that will negatively affect the ovarian reserve due to various diseases or cancer. In addition in our center, preimplantation genetic diagnosis and IVF treatment is applied to couples who want to obtain a stem cell donor sibling for the treatment of their surviving child. (provided that their condition is determined by the medical board report). In addition, in some medical diseases where genetic diagnosis is required by embryo biopsy, genetic examination and IVF applications can also be performed in our center. The aim of our center is to conduct scientific research on reproductive health and reproductive techniques in our country, to organize meetings and trainings and to share national and international scientific developments in this field. For this purpose, our center has aimed to realize the clinical application of scientific technologies in the best way since the day it was established and to offer current infertility treatments to our community with an internationally reliable and sincere service.
