- What is Home Health Care?

Providing the examination, treatment, medical care and rehabilitation of individuals in need of home health services as a result of various diseases at home and in the family environment, and providing health and care and follow-up services as a whole to meet their medical needs including social and psychological support services to these individuals and family members.


- Who does Home Health Service include?


* Patients who are bedridden and unable to perform their own self-care due to old age,
* Disabled patients who cannot come to hospital due to disability,
* Patients with terminal cancer and palliative care,
* Advanced muscle disease patients,
* Patients who have had an accident or have undergone surgical procedures and who require short-term home health care,
* Patients with neurological diseases (ALS, Dementia, Alzheimer, etc.)


- What are the duties of Home Health Care?

* Inspection and consultation services
* Organizing the examination and treatment according to the examination result
* Wound dressing
* Home medical health practices (Probe, etc.)
* Referring the patients who can not have home health services at home to appropriate units,
* Nursing services, laboratory services,
* Preparation of drug and diaper reports and renewal of existing reports,
*Provision of medical devices and supplies and making them available to patients for embezzlement,
* Oral and dental health services needed by patients included in home health care,
* Rehabilitation, training and support services,
* Organizing their nutrition and preparing nutrition reports,
* Psychotherapy, physiotherapy applications,
* In case of emergency, referring patients to emergency policlinics of hospitals as soon as possible.


- How can our citizens reach Home Health Care?


* Home health services are a unit that works by appointment system and during working hours. The area where the service is provided is limited to the contiguous area of the province or district where the health institution or organization is located.

* Our Home Healthcare team is responsible for the following areas as of: University Mah., Bilkent Mah., Mutlukent Mah., 100th Anniversary Workers Block Mah., Cigdem Mah., Çukurambar Mah., Cevizlidere Mah. Mustafa Kemal Mah., Oğuz Mah. ,
Kızılırmak Mah., Söğütözü Mah., Ehlibeyt Mah., Nasuh Akar Mah., Balgat Mah., Beysukent, Mimar Sinan Mah., Bademlidere Mah., Eti Mah., Dilekler Mah., Cumhuriyet Mah., Namık Kemal Mah.

* Patient and their relatives call 444 38 33 home health services coordination center and apply to the home health services. The coordination center records the patient's information (identity, address, telephone, disease, diagnosis, request). Makes the patient's referral to the hospital on the internet. The patients who are directed and fall into the system of the related hospital are informed by telephone within 24 hours at the latest and an appointment is made up to 15 days.
The patient or his / her relatives are re-informed 1 day in advance to be reminded of the appointment and visited by the team the next day.

* Inpatients in various clinics and in need of home health services at discharge are required to call 444 38 33 to obtain home health care services.

* The family physician of the patient concerned determines home health needs and informs the coordination center.

Our Home Health Services Team consists of 3 physicians including 1 responsible physician, 1 psychologist, 3 nurses, 1 health officer, 1 V.H.K.İ., 1 secretary and 1 driver.
