In this context, a “permanent pacemaker kiosk” was established in the Cardiology Clinic of our Cardiovascular Hospital in Ankara City Hospital, under the responsibility of Prof. Dr. Serkan Çay.

With the kiosk created for use in the control of permanent pacemaker patients, it is possible to eliminate the contact between the patient and the medical staff. While the pacemaker monitoring device used and acquainted by the kiosk machine in follow-ups is activated without touching the patient, the kiosk uploads the information to the electronic environment. After the process, which takes seconds, the information is securely stored on the internet.
