Ankara City Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Unit provides service on the 2nd floor of the Oncology Hospital, Block B and Floor B1. Our unit has 16 beds and both autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplants are performed. In addition, all allogeneic donor sources (sister, unrelated, haplo-identical) are used. In our unit, transplantation is applied to patients with Acute Leukemias, Lymphomas, Multiple Myeloma, Aplastic Anemia, Bone Marrow Insufficiency, Hemoglobinopathy, and Testicular Tumor. Transplantation is also available to international patients. Our unit was opened 2 years ago and 130 bone marrow transplants were performed in our unit despite the pandemic conditions.
