Our experienced and academically high qualified team provide high quality service in diagnosis and treatment of local as well as foreign patients all around the world.

Our department has 8 professors, 13 associate professors, 2 lecturer doctors, 2 chief residents, 8 specialists, 27 residents, 45 inpatient nurses, 16 operating theater nurses, 4 outpatient nurses, 4 officers and 6 secretaries.

There are four inpatient clinics. Three of those are located on the 7th floor and the last one is located on the 8th floor of The Oncology Hospital (MH6).

These clinics have the capacity of 90 beds as 42 of those are single and 24 of those are double rooms. In each ward, one of the single rooms is an isolation room with a negative pressure ventilation system.

All of the rooms have sink, bath, television (for each patient), refrigerator and a sofa for the companion to sleep.

Our operating theaters are located on the first floor of The Oncology Hospital. There are 9 operating theaters in total. Three of those have lead-plated. All the rooms have modern equipments and medical devices inside. There are high level precautions to prevent infections. Robotic surgeries are performed in another room three days a week.

There are 12 outpatients polyclinics located on the B1 floor in The Oncology Building (E Block) Seven of those are reserved for general urology patients; the others are for andrology (male reproductive system and sexual health for both sexes) patients including voiding dysfunction/urinary incontinence, renal transplantation, The Health Committee etc. All the polyclinics serve during the working hours on weekdays.

Congenital abnormalities; infectious diseases; neurological disorders; traumas; benign and malignant tumours of urinary tract (kidney, renal pelvis, ureter, bladder and urethra); male reproductive system (prostate, seminal vesicles, testicles, epididim and vas deferens, penis and scrotum), adrenal gland and retroperitoneal area

Other Units in Urology

Endoscopy Unit:

This unit is located on the first floor (room 6) in The Oncology Building of Ankara City Hospital. Cystoscopy, ureteral stent removal, transrectal prostate biopsy and intravesical BCG treatment under local anestesia are performed here.

Urosupport Unit:

This unit is located on the B1 floor in The Oncology Building and urodynamic operations (cystomety, uroflowmetry, pressure-voiding) are performed here.

Cavernosometry Unıt:

Cavernosometry is performed to calculate the hemodynamics of penis. It is a part of Urosupport Unit.

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy Unit: This unit is located on the first floor of MHC1 (Main Mass) in Ankara City Hospital.
