Our Ankara City Hospital was evaluated after successful breast milk applications and was awarded as "Baby Friendly Hospital" and "Baby Friendly Neonatal Intensive Care Unit".

There are 23 breastfeeding rooms in total, 7 of which are in the Maternity Hospital in Ankara City Hospital, which started out by creating a baby-friendly hospital and newborn intensive care policies with successful breastfeeding.

"We have served approximately 1,500 covid-positive pregnant women since the beginning of March." said Prof. Dr. Moraloğlu Tekin and added: “We published the highest pregnancy data in the world literature. We brought together the mother and the baby, who were separated due to the corona virus, with baby tablets in a digital environment. In this process, breastfeeding teams supported the mothers about breast milk not to cessation, expressing and storing the milk in order not to deprive babies of breast milk. We continued to support mothers during the discharge process after birth. Brochures were distributed, support lines that they could contact were created. With motivational support to mothers who have had a break breastfeeding, dietician support is given especially to mothers of premature babies. "
