Our hospital was presented with the certificate of accreditation by Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute with a ceremony.
General hospital which provides service within the body of Türkiye’ s first and only accredited city hospital Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, was presented with the certificate of accreditation with a ceremony. General Hospital Certificate of Accreditation Award Ceremony started with one minute’s silence for respect and Turkish National Anthem was sung and continued right after with a cinevision that presented the accreditation process.
The ceremony continued with the opening speeches of Quality Director and Coordinator Deputy Chief Physician Specialist Filiz Denizli Ergen. She emphasized the efforts about quality management of the hospitals who applied for the accreditation, expressing her thanks to the quality management team in their endeavor of accreditation process to become a center of excellence.
General Hospital Chief Physician Assoc. Dr. Osman İnan extended his thanks to the whole team for their devoted work, mentioning that the accreditation process in our General Hospital which has the largest patient capacity, and the widest area was not easy.
Coordinator Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Aziz Ahmet Surel expressed his thanks to the executives of Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute and Health Institutes of Türkiye for their support and mentorship in his opening speech, expressing that our General Hospital is a splendid example for our other hospitals who applied for the accreditation process. In this journey to become a center of excellence, Surel underlined that the work has been continuing with an effort to become an accredited health campus actively.
In his speech, Ankara Provincial Health Director Specialist M.D Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe expressed his gratitude to the staff of Ankara Bilkent City hospital for their collective effort to become an accredited city hospital in such a big campus with a substantial number of workers. Shortly after President of Türkiye Health Care Quality and Accreditation Institute Prof. Dr Figen Çizmeci Şenel, shared her happiness about the accreditation of the four hospitals within the body of Ankara Bilkent City Hospital. She expressed that, as a massive health complex Ankara Bilkent City Hospital’s effort has proved to be a pioneer and an exemplary health campus, motivating all the other hospitals.
As a member of Ankara Bilkent City hospital, The President of Health Institutes of Türkiye Prof. Dr Ümit Kervan highlighted the fact that Health Institutes of Türkiye is always a great supporter of innovative and progressive work in the context of health and technology, expressing Ankara Bilkent City Hospital’s sensitivity about the accreditation.
After their opening speeches, The President of Health Institutes of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Ümit Kervan and the President of Health Institutes of Türkiye Prof. Dr. Figen Çizmeci Şenel presented the Certificate of Accreditation to Ankara Provincial Health Director Specialist M.D Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, Coordinator Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Aziz Ahmet Surel, Quality Director and Coordinator Deputy Chief Physician Specialist Filiz Denizli Ergen, General Hospital Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Osman İnan. Our hospital managers presented the paintings from Hospital Moral Art Workshop by the patients to them, thanking for their contributions.
