In our hospital, the second phase of the Phase-3 trials of the Coronavac vaccine, named Coronavac, developed by the Chinese Sinovac company, has been passed. Vaccines tested on healthcare professionals are now available to all citizens.
The Chinese origin Covid-19 vaccine, which Phase 3 studies started in our country on September 15, started to be applied on voluntary citizens after healthcare workers. In this context, teacher and mother Ayşegül Durmaz and her daughter Gökçe Durmaz, who was also a teacher, who comply with the criteria and volunteered, were vaccinated at our hospital today.

The teacher of Religious Culture and Ethics, Ayşegül Durmaz, who stated that she tried the vaccine for her loved ones in the first place and then for herself because of her chronic illness, said:
I first got this vaccine to protect my loved ones. I did it for myself because I have chronic illnesses. In this hospital, doctor Rahmet was the doctor who followed me. When I came to her for the examination, she told me that the vaccination from the paramedics to the volunteers started, then it would start for all volunteers. I followed this information and came for myself. I am a carrier of hepatitis B, I have high blood pressure. I chose to volunteer for service for all humanity.
