Medical Genetics Polyclinic is available in The General Hospital Building (B1 floor) on weekdays during working hours. 

In Medical Genetics for outpatients, clinical diagnosis and follow-up services are provided by evaluation of patients with any suspected genetic disease. 

In addition, genetic counseling is carried out in our polyclinics. 

Who can visit our Genetics Polyclinic? 

- Patients of any age with congenital multiple anomalies 

- Infertility assisted by In Vitro Fertilization

- Patients with a history of miscarriage of unknown origin more than two

- Advanced maternal age and pregnancy ( >35 of age) 

- High risk in double and triple test during pregnancy 

- Detection of anomaly in baby by USG performed during pregnancy

- Pre-consanguineous marriage counseling 

- Hereditary disease in the family 

- Genetic disease history in the first baby 

- Familial cancer history 

- Mediterranean anemia 

- Familial Mediterranean Fever 

- Cystic fibrosis 

- Patients diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) 

- Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) 

- Patients with a history of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)
