Following our Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital, our Maternity Hospital within Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, the only accredited City Hospital in our country, has been awarded the Accreditation Certificate by the Turkish Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute.
The Accreditation Certificate, deemed appropriate to be granted to our Maternity Hospital within Ankara Bilkent City Hospital by the Turkish Healthcare Quality and Accreditation Institute, was presented to our Coordinator Chief Physician Assistant Prof. Aziz Ahmet Surel and Prof. Dr. Özlem Moraloğlu Tekin at a ceremony attended by Ankara Provincial Health Director Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, TUSEB President Prof. Dr. Erhan Akdoğan, and TÜSKA President Prof. Dr. Figen Çizmeci Şenel.
Following a moment of silence and the recitation of the national anthem, a video presentation describing our hospital's accreditation process was enthusiastically watched by the attendees. In the opening speeches of the program, our Assistant Coordinator Chief Physician and Quality Director Dr. Filiz Denizli Ergen expressed her gratitude to all members of our corporate family, emphasizing that the success achieved was the result of their harmonious and collaborative work. The Chief Physician of our Maternity Hospital, Prof. Dr. Özlem Moraloğlu Tekin, expressed her satisfaction at receiving the rewards for their hard work and thanked all employees who contributed to the accreditation process, as well as all administrators, especially our Coordinator Chief Physician, for their support.
In his speech, our Coordinator Chief Physician Assistant Prof. Aziz Ahmet Surel stated that the Ankara Bilkent City Hospital family had faced many challenging conditions together during the hospital's short history, and that despite these difficulties, they had achieved great successes without compromising on quality. "I would like to thank our hospital's Quality Coordinator Dr. Filiz Denizli Ergen and the staff working in the Quality Unit for their great efforts during this process. I also want to thank TUSEB President and TÜSKA President for their encouraging and educational approaches, who did not withhold their support during this process. All our hospitals within our institution will hopefully obtain this accreditation certificate rapidly and decisively. I would like to thank everyone who contributed once again," he concluded.
Ankara Provincial Health Director Dr. Ali Niyazi Kurtcebe, in his speech, highlighted the pride they felt due to the dynamism of our hospital being noticeable both domestically and internationally, and the fact that our hospital emerged stronger from all kinds of challenging conditions. He stated that they are always pleased to support our hospital and work together as the Ankara Provincial Health Directorate.
TUSEB President Prof. Dr. Erhan Akdoğan and TÜSKA President Prof. Dr. Figen Çizmeci Şenel congratulated our hospital, which earned the right to receive the accreditation certificate after a lengthy evaluation process, in their speeches. They also emphasized that working systematically and in solidarity would always produce good results and congratulated all employees for their efforts to fulfill the criteria of the accreditation certificate amidst their busy work schedules.
After the speeches, the Accreditation Certificate was presented to our Coordinator Chief Physician Assistant Prof. Aziz Ahmet Surel and Prof. Dr. Özlem Moraloğlu Tekin by the TUSEB President and TÜSKA President.
Our Coordinator Chief Physician also presented paintings created by our patients in the Moral Art Workshop, which was opened to provide morale and motivation for our patients at our hospital, to the TUSEB President and the Ankara Provincial Health Director; and a gift produced in the Sewing Workshop, which was opened for our hospital staff, was presented to the TÜSKA President as a memento of the day on behalf of the Ankara Bilkent City Hospital Family. The program concluded with the taking of commemorative photos.
