Nebahat Sezer graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in
1994. She completed her specialty training at Ankara Physical
Medicine and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital. She
became an Associate Professor in 2010 and subspecialist of pain
management (algology) in 2011 at the same hospital. In 2015, she
received the title of Professor in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt
University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation. She was the General Secretary of the Turkish Society
of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialists between 2010 and
2013. Between 2013 and 2018, she served as the administrative
responsible of the Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital
Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic and founder of the Hand
Rehabilitation Unit. She is a member of the Curriculum and Standard
Setting commission in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation speciality
for 3 terms. She still continues her clinical and academic studies in
Ankara City Hospital Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Hospital and
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Medicine,
Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
